Connecting People is about groups of people meeting with a common interest for a defined period of time. This semester's classes include:

Starting Point
Leaders: Jennifer Shore
Are you a new believer or maybe exploring just what you do believe? Jennifer's class, "Starting Point" is for you! It's a safe, "no question is too dumb to ask", class. You will not be seated next to theological scholars, so you can ask what you want. We explore God's word, how we got it and what it says. It's a great time of discussion and exploration. The Book of John

Come with us as we explore the Book of John in the New Testament. John contains some of the most fascinating events recorded in the Bible. Its approach is totally different from the other 3 Gospels. We will a take good look at John and not only will we study it, our goal is to make it understandable and more than understandable, practical! Oh, yes, and it will be fun! Financial Peace University
Leaders: Phil & Sarah Madison, Luke & Jessica Beaver
Are you tired of being in debt? Have you had enough of not having enough? Dave Ramsey's "Financial Peace University" has taught thousands of people how to not only get out of debt, but get their finances back on track and under control. You can learn the principles too. The cost for the materials (workbooks and Dave Ramsey's videos) is $100.00, but you will pay yourself back that and many times more if you follow the course set for you. Billy Graham once summed up the entire Bible by quoting John 3:16, displaying the verse's power. If you have ever read Max Lucado, you know how hard it is to put down one of his books. One of the most well attended and often repeated classes of the Connecting People history is "For Women Only." The title tells it all but you will love the time spent with other ladies. They continue in the study of the book Women of the Bible: Examples to Live By by Sylvia Charles. The cost of the book is $14.00. Overcoming Addiction & Dependency

Matt Lookabill spent years dependant on chemicals to make his decisions. After hitting the bottom, he turned his life around with the help of God. Matt now teaches others how to escape the stanglehold of addiction. He can help you and your family too. This class is for dependants and those in their families. It's completely confidential. Evangelism Explosion

Do you want to know how to lead others to a new life in Jesus? Are you unsure of the right things to say? Can you handle yourself in conversations about how to be saved? You can learn how to share your faith effectively with Evanglism Explosion. The course requires memorization and on the job training but its well worth it. This class meets on Sunday nights. Men's Fraternity has been functioning for several months at 6:30am on Tuesday mornings. You can choose the early hour, and now beginning in January, Men's Fraternity, also comes to Wednesday nights at 6:30pm. Media Team Pit Stop

Want to be part of the Media Team, with lights, cameras, sound and other high tech equipment? Jeff plans to train new people to help in Worship and Special productions as well as cross train existing helpers. This is a chance for you to be a part of a vital ministry. Five Love Languages
Leaders: Jennifer Klim
In his book, The Five Love Languages, Dr. Gary Chapman shares with us some life-changing revelations the Lord has given him concerning what he calls, “The Five Love Languages.” He defines a love language as how you and I need to be shown love because it satisfies a deep-seated need. Each of us has one of these five languages that is the most important to us. When we find out what our marriage partner's love language is and use it, our marriage will change!
